Practicing backbends in yoga therapy is very healing. The chest tends to collapse with gravity, postural issues, and stress. Even the lower back needs to arch for optimal health. We will talk about how to safely approach backbends to open your chest and shoulders and lift your mood. We will do some passive backbends and some movement approaches with our extension work too.
