Quiet and Still: Restorative Yoga and a Taste of Meditation

Sunday, November 11 from 1-3pm
How often do you give yourself the space and time to deeply rest? Join Kerry Maiorca for a rejuvenating restorative yoga practice and recharge your batteries before the busyness of the holiday season kicks into full gear.

In this practice you’ll use props galore to create a completely supported, cozy experience on your mat. The magic of restorative yoga poses lies in the calming effect on the nervous system as you rest quietly in a comfortable pose for an extended period of time. When you emerge, you’ll notice an incredible difference!
In between restorative poses you’ll be guided through mindful and gentle mobilization exercises to help make the practice feel more complete and fully embodied. To help you access deeper states of calm and quiet, you’ll be treated to a taste of meditation in the most accessible way. Even if you’ve never had much luck with meditation, now is the perfect time to give it a try!
When you make time for self-care you’re better able to enjoy your life and loved ones – so what better time for restorative practice than right before the holidays?

No previous yoga, meditation, or restorative yoga experience necessary. All props will be provided. Come in comfortable clothing, and prepare to give yourself the gift of sweet relaxation.

Pre-registration is recommended and space is limited.
