Taught by Deanna Schultz
This class is tailored to meet the needs of cancer patients in treatment or post-treatment by incorporating gentle postures, relaxing breathwork and meditation techniques that help to improve circulation, range of motion, and relieve stress. This class is tailored to meet the needs of cancer patients in treatment (cleared by doctor).
The class provides a safe place where people in treatment and post-treatment can come together in community and “just be.”
Yoga, breathwork and mindfulness techniques are evidence-based practices that can help reduce stress, while increasing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. These techniques can help ease the side-effects of chemotherapy and other cancer-related treatments, including nausea, fatigue and pain.
This class is safe for those also experiencing neuropathy or lymphedema.
